41st Annual - One Helluva Ride

Saturday, July 8, 2017

General Information

The Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society (AABTS) presents the 41st Annual One Helluva Ride (OHR) on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Participants will enjoy a day of scenic bicycle touring over tree-lined, paved roads in Washtenaw, Ingham, Jackson and Livingston counties. The routes wind through rural and recreation areas on beautiful rolling terrain and vary enough to appeal to a broad range of bicyclists.

OHR riders may choose from six great loop routes this year. Four rides start and end at the Chelsea Fairgrounds in Chelsea, Michigan; the 40, 66, 76, and 100 mile routes go through Hell. The 40 mile route by-passes Hell. The two Fun Rides start and end at Portage Lake State Park. All the routes share the same central lunch stop at Portage Lake State Park, so family members and friends who decide to take different routes can meet.

All routes are clearly marked and maps provided.

Downloadable GPS routes will be available to pre-registered riders shortly after July 1. Riders who provided email addresses at registration will receive details for downloading when the routes are available.
