Event Description

Please contact the Exhibit Manager at info@quietwatersociety.org if you have any questions about exhibiting at the Quiet Water Symposium.

Details
Last year, the exhibit space sold out by February 1. Do not delay to register especially if you want to get the same space you had last year.

Exhibitor Registration Instructions
The online registration process will take 10 – 15 minutes if you have all the needed information available. This includes:
- Your contact information
- Your organization – if you are a not a business, club or formal group, just enter your last name plus the word Exhibit (ex. Smith Exhibit)

The Package Selection section gives four options. You must decide if your exhibit will be commercial or non-commercial.

Early (or Late) Registration Exhibitor – Commercial - In general, if you sell something at the show or after the show to people you meet at your exhibit, you are a commercial exhibitor.  The exception is those exhibitors who are involved in fundraising to support a cause or charity. They are considered to the non-commercial. Examples are scouting groups who sell cookies and t-shirt sales to support non-profits.

Registration Exhibitor Non-Commercial - Non-commercial exhibitors are those involved in education, conservation, historic preservation, tourism promotion, or event promotion. Examples are clubs, non-profits, educational group or youth groups.

Registration includes one exhibit space at no charge. Additional spaces can be requested in either of two ways. You can select Priority Request and your request will be approved if the space is available on the day of the request. The cost of an exhibit space obtained by a non-commercial exhibitor by Priority Request is $50.00. You can also request a space by selecting Pending Request. Your request will be approved only if the space is still available after final space assignments are made by the Exhibit Manager on Feb. 1. The cost of an exhibit space obtained by a non-commercial exhibitor by Pending Request is no charge but there is a risk that the space will have gone to someone else. In 2016, all spaces were assigned on Feb. 1 and none would have been available to fill Pending Requests.

Registration Complimentary - Complimentary registration is offered to symposium speakers as recognition of their contribution. It is also available for symposium financial sponsors and to working partners who help make the event possible.

Add Another Attendee (exhibit support staff) – used after you register your organization and need to provide the names of those who will help you as exhibit support staff

A. The Exhibit Space Description section asks you to select from a list a general description of your exhibit. There is one list for commercial exhibits and one for non-commercial. You also have an opportunity to provide a short description of your exhibit.

B. The Exhibit Space Selection area is where you choose the number of exhibit spaces you are requesting. The first space is included in your package but charges may apply for selection of additional spaces. For location of exhibit spaces, refer to Exhibitor Registration and select 2016 Exhibit Floor Layout. This will show the layout. Hover your pointer over a space to see which organization help the space in 2016.
From the 2016 Exhibit Floor Layout note the space numbers for the locations you wish to request. These numbers are based on a row letter and a number counting from left to right (example A11). You can enter the exhibit space number in the field that opens up after you check the box to request a space.
Final space assignments are made on Feb. 1 by the Exhibit Manager. We sold out last year so try to register early. No guarantee of location assigned is made.

C. The Other Exhibit Support Options area asks you to select the number of tables you want at your exhibit. Also let us know if you need to plug into an electrical outlet. There are none in the arena and those in the exhibit area are only at the pillars.
Finally, in 20 words or less, provide a description of your exhibit that will help guests decide if they should stop to visit your booth. Space permitting, this will be printed in the program booklet to help interested guests find you at the show.

Good luck and thanks for supporting the Quiet Water Symposium.
