Our theme for this year is, as usual, somewhat general. We would like to focus on coming changes in treatment technology, regulations, facilities operations, sampling and analytical requirements, relationships between treatment operators and POTW Coordinators, how CDPHE administers permits with direct dischargers, etc.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to: case studies, project reviews, technology presentations, upcoming plant expansions, regulatory updates, academic research, changing safety requirements, security issues, innovative changes in instrumentation and controls, oil and gas/fracking. We would like to avoid classroom type teaching, and stick to topics that "entertain and enlighten."
