January 2025 | Governor Patrick Morrisey Gives Update on Budget Shortfalls Governor Patrick Morrisey Gives Update on Budget Shortfalls January 28, 2025 Governor Morrisey Press Conference, Jan. 28, 2025 CHARLESTON, WV – At a press conference today, Governor Patrick Morrisey addressed members of the media about issues with the state budget. Morrisey took to a whiteboard to lay out specific figures and line items that are contributing to the projected over $400M deficit in fiscal year 2026. Published: 01/28/25 Volunteers Needed for Capitol Chiropractic Clinic As the ONLY healthcare profession to have the opportunity to provide care at the State Capitol during the Legislative Session it is very important to have volunteers. The Capitol Chiropractic Clinic is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00. Our member doctors work the clinic to help Legislators, legislative staff members and state employees with issues they might be having during the stressful 60-day Legislative Session. During the 2024 Legislative Session the clinic was visited more than 200 times. Each of these visits the Chiropractic profession was promoted by our member doctor in attendance providing care.
