Representatives from Westervelt Ecological Services will meet our group to provide an overview of compensatory mitigation and the role it plays in restoring and preserving protected species and habitats. The tour will cover wetland reestablishment, rehabilitation, enhancement, and riparian preservation areas, along with highlighting the wildlife and protected species benefiting from this mitigation project.\n\nSpace is limited to 20 people so don’t wait to register.\n\nItinerary:\n9:30 AM – 9:45 Meet at Faller Park in Sanger, CA. Parking is along 10th Street between J Street and Faller Avenue. We will consolidate vehicles and carpool to the Kings River Mitigation Property.\n10:00 AM – Noon – Kings River Mitigation Tour hosted by Westervelt Ecological Services. Parking is limited to five vehicles.
