What is the San Joaquin Valley (SJV) Greenprint?
The SJV Greenprint, which was developed by the Conservation Biology Institute, collects and presents information about the Valley’s resources through existing maps, data sources, resource preservation programs, policies and regulations (e.g. General Plans, Water Management Plans, Habitat Conservation Plans, Agricultural Preservation Programs, etc.), and has developed new data sources where needed. The SJV Greenprint provides a quantitative and qualitative assessment of Valley resources and trends.
The website for the SJV Greenprint provides an interactive online map database of more than 100 GIS maps that can be visually overlaid to look at potentially complementary or competing uses of land and identify the spatial patterns of regionally significant resources.

What is the CEQA Portal?
The CEQA Portal was developed by the Association of Environmental Professionals to provide a set of tools for anyone interested in learning about the California Environmental Quality Act. It is intended for CEQA practitioners, attorneys, elected and appointed officials, students, and citizens, to: aid in understanding the goals of CEQA, its process and content requirements, and how to prepare CEQA documents.

Dustin Pearce, M.E.S.M.
Dustin Pearce is a GIS Analyst at the Conservation Biology Institute (CBI). His work uses geospatial modeling, remote sensing, online mapping, stakeholder engagement and outreach to help guide conservation planning throughout California. His background in geospatial sciences has focused on the interplay of working agricultural lands, natural lands, and renewable energy development in California.
Pat Angell, AICP
Pat Angell is a Senior Director at Ascent Environmental providing environmental compliance services state-wide. He serves as a project director, manager and technical analyst for a variety of projects. He has been involved in the preparation of several CEQA and NEPA documents and technical studies and has over 23 years of environmental documentation preparation experience.
