Join AEP in discussing collaboration opportunities for general plans and water management plans. Boxed lunch provided. 1 CM Credit Available.

Planning Objective: To summarize the types of water management plans required for consideration during the general plan process, explore how these plans may be used in the general plan update process, and identify opportunities to collaborate more effectively with water management planning agencies.

Speaker Bios:

Owen Kubit, PE, PG, CHG
Owen Kubit is a principal water resources engineer at Provost & Pritchard with over 20 years of experience in the planning, design and management of water resources projects. He has experience in water resources management, water policy, surface water hydrology, hydrogeology and water balance analysis.  He is a professional civil engineer, professional geologist, and certified hydrogeologist.

Sara Allinder, AICP
Sara Allinder is a senior planner at Provost & Pritchard with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of planning. She has been involved in and led the development of general plan updates, development code updates, and strategic implementation plans.  She also provides contract staffing services for local planning agencies. She is a certified professional planner.
