Event Description
Summer is fast approaching and that means it's time for field tournaments. Skookum will be hosting a summer field league with the same basic operating format as we hosted our Winter Leagues. Members will be able to sign-up, form their own groups, and set a schedule that works for them. It will be on the honor system and scores will be recorded and posted on the main bulletin board in the clubhouse.
Your group can set your own time to meet for an official scoring round and we encourage you to meet at the same time each week. Scorecards can be placed in the black suggestion box by the magazine racks and Pete will collect them on a regular basis. Non-members are welcome to join in the fun, we can supply you with a scorecard template and you can email your scores to Pete.
There is a nominal fee of $10 to cover costs for members. Non-members will be charged $75 which includes the daily range fees. Pete Miles has agreed to run the club league this year and will compile the weekly scores and post them in the clubhouse. This is a fun league for bragging rights only, there will be no awards.
The NFAA has announced that they will be hosting a Summer Field League again this year. If you are interested in participating at the NFAA level you must sign-up with them, we are providing this for information only.
The National Outdoor League will run for 13 weeks and offers members the opportunity to compete at an international level from any NFAA outdoor range. Archers will shoot Field/Hunter/Animal rounds for the first 8-week session and Classic 600/900 Target rounds for the second 5-week session. The archer is required to complete 9 of the 13 weeks to be eligible for awards. Scores and scorecards will be uploaded by the archer via an online form prior to the end of each session.
League scores do NOT have to be shot at a host location. If there is no host in their area, archers can still participate at any NFAA outdoor range around the world. Rounds shot at any NFAA event can also be submitted for the League.
NFAA National League Champion belt buckles will be awarded to the top finisher in the Championship flight for each division.
All participants are entered to win entries into the 2022 National Field OR Target Championships!
