TABB San Antonio Monthly Meeting
A lot of things going on with TABB right now. I am not sure how many of you listened to the TABB Seminar on Tuesday about the new IBBA Benefits that TABB Members. I personally found it to be very informative and there are a great amount of benefits for the small addition in price at renewal.
Secondly TABB has a new Education Chairman, Paul Kroger, announced a lot of new class offerings. Here is a link to them https://www.tabb.org/education_hub.php
Lastly the TABB Conference is set for Sept 19-21 in the Woodlands.
This month we will be meeting at 11:30 am at the Petroleum Club. Several members asked to have another Lender Roundtable discussion on how things have settled with the most recent 50.10.7 changes to the SBA SOP. I have seen a lot more requests for the 24 month standby notes with less equity from Buyers. One buyer wanted his full equity to be a standby note. Personally not sure this is a great combination.
As always the location will be the Petroleum Club in San Antonio (7th floor - 8620 N New Braunfels Ave, 7th Floor). Cost is is $30 for TABB members and $35 for non-members for one of the best lunches in town (cash or check at the door please). Our local chapter subsidizes the lunch to keep the cost the same for the past several years. Social begins at 11:30, lunch at noon, and the presentation/discussion around 12:10-12:15. We try to make sure we end by 1 pm to be respectful of everyone’s time.
