We’ll showcase the Economic Dependencies Dashboard (EDD), a powerful tool for understanding which industries your local economy depends on. Then we’ll go further with two advanced tools now available on top of EDD:

• The Economic Strategy Tool, which helps users explore diversification, strengthening, or recovery strategies by suggesting industries best aligned with each scenario. Recommendations are grounded in real data, including jobs, location quotient, income dependency, local supply share, and economic trends.
• The Employment Impact Calculator, a what-if analysis tool that estimates how direct changes in employment affect indirect and induced jobs across the economy. It also quantifies the ripple effect in terms of basic income and its distribution.
