Event Description
USSP Southwest Regional Championship is an Age/Skill tournament for ages 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed Doubles. After registration closes, events will be split into 5-year age/skill groups for medaling purposes. Age groups/skill levels may be combined for bracketing. ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW ONCE EVENTS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED.
Registration before 1/31/2026 is $65, plus $15 for each doubles event. Singles events are $20 each.
For February, the registration fee is $80 per player plus event fees.
USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount IF the player has their USSP Membership number in the player profile in pickleballbrackets.com. Please don't forget to select the USSP Club on your profile.
Registration opens on November 24, 2025 and closes on February 22, 2026 at 9:00 PM PST.
This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved. This tournament will use the US Senior Pickleball Rating that was created for our seniors. Your ratings will adjust up or down based on your win or loss and against your opponents ratings. It's that simple. If you are a member then your USSP rating will be used for registration and calculations. If you are not a member then your DUPR will be used.
To join USSP, go to www.usseniorpickleball.org , only $20 per year. Multi-year payment discounts available.
The tournament will limit registration to 750 players, or when the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.
Brackets/Events will be round robin with pool play for events with large numbers of teams, single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 3 matches per event.
Current US Senior Pickleball Members save $10 at every US Senior Pickleball tournament

USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year (USSP members only). In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10-point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle.
No cash prizes will be awarded.
FORMATS:
MASTERS DIVISION (50+55+60+)
50 + - 64 / 3 teams will play a double round robin and not lead into playoffs. Medals awarded based on results. Games are 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2.
50+ - 64 / 4, 5 & 6 team brackets will play a straight round robin. 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. Games to 15 win by 2 The winners will play for gold/silver and losers play for bronze. The gold/silver will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2 and the bronze match will be 1 game to 15 win by 2.
50+ - 64 / 7, 8 & 9 team brackets will play a straight round robin, 1 game to 15 win by 2. The top 4 teams will move forward. 1 vs 2 for gold/silver – will be best 2 of 3 to 11 win by 2, and 3 vs 4 for bronze with 1 game to 15 win by 2.
