Just as importantly, TOBY® judges play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the TOBY® Awards by ensuring every entry is evaluated fairly, consistently, and objectively.

TOBY® Judges Training

Attendance at the annual TOBY® Judges Training Session is required for all judges, including returning judges.

During the training session, you'll receive:

• An overview of the TOBY® Awards program and judging process.
• Instruction on the official TOBY® Building Inspection Form and Score Sheet.
• Updates to this year's judging criteria and procedures.
• A guided property walk-through.
• Additional guidance for judges with three years or less of TOBY® judging experience.

Who Can Serve as a TOBY® Judge?

This opportunity is open exclusively to current BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches members who:

• Complete the TOBY® Judge Participation Form.
• Register for and attend the mandatory TOBY® Judges Training Session.
• Are available to judge every building within their assigned category.

Please note: The TOBY® Judge Participation Form and the TOBY® Judges Training registration are two separate requirements. Both must be completed to serve as a TOBY® judge.
