Event Description
Learn the skills of a Wilderness First Responder in the unique outdoor environment of the Texas Tech University Center, located along the banks of the South Llano River near Junction, TX. Lecture and skill demonstrations prepare participants for scenario-based simulations which reinforce concepts of diagnosis and treatment based on a mechanism of injury and related environmental factors.

WFR course tuition: $595
Optional upgrade to WEMT: $615 (includes access to the online WEMT exam). Please note, WEMT certification requires current EMT certification or licensure.
Lodging is available on site in screened cabins, with access to an outdoor kitchen ($175 fee in addition to the course tuition).
