Castlen Kennedy, Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs
Apache Corporation 
Castlen Kennedy was named vice president – corporate communications and public affairs in July 2015 after serving as director since 2014. Ms. Kennedy joined Apache’s Government Affairs department in 2006 and served as manager of government affairs from 2006 to 2011, advocating on behalf of the Company before state and federal officials. She joined the Investor Relations department as manager in 2011 and later as director in 2014, interacting and communicating with Apache shareholders. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Kennedy served as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, a business analyst at S&B Infrastructure, and a financial analyst on the commodities desks at RWE Americas and Enron Corporation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, a master’s degree in public affairs, and a master’s degree in energy and earth resources from The University of Texas at Austin.

Wendy King, Vice President, Gulf Coast & Rockies
ConocoPhillips
Wendy King leads a team responsible for development and operations of the company’s Eagle Ford and Bakken assets. She assumed this role in 2022 after serving as vice president of the Gulf Coast business unit and vice president of the Great Plains business unit. King’s previous leadership roles within ConocoPhillips include serving the Australia East business unit as president, Australia Pacific LNG as vice president, Commercial, and the Alaska business unit as vice president, External Affairs, and manager, Alaska North Slope Gas Development. King began her career as a petroleum engineer with Conoco and has held various technical and leadership positions in exploration and production functions in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Africa. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

 

Samantha F. Holroyd, Board Member
Chord Energy
Samantha Holroyd is a Board Member of Chord Energy and serves on the Audit Committee and Environmental, Social and Governance Commitee. She was previously a member of the Board of Oasis Petroleum, serving as the Chair of the Nominating, Environmental, Social & Governance Committee and as a member of Audit & Reserves Committee. Ms. Holroyd also served as Oasis’s Lead Independent Director from late 2020 to early 2021. Previously, Ms. Holroyd served as an independent board member for Gulfport Energy from 2020 to 2021. She has served as an independent advisor to the energy industry since 2020 through Golden Advisory Services, LLC, a consulting firm, and began serving on the Board of Directors for Amerant Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: AMTB) in 2022. At Amerant, she serves on the Risk Committee, Nominating & Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee. Ms. Holroyd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, holds FINRA Certifications (Series 79 and Series 63), and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. She also is a Certified Corporate Director by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is NACD Certified in ESG.

Shanta brings 20+ years of expertise integrating people, process and technology to affect change. She has led multinational teams in the Finance and Energy sectors, through acquisition integration, strategic program/project management, professional development, skill-building, establishing DEI frameworks, organizing global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and facilitating executive workshops/training. As a recognized DEI strategist, change leader and project management executive, she emphasizes trusted partnerships, and leverages her uniquely positioned background to close the gap between strategy and execution to impact organizational culture.


Lamonica Spivey, Inclusion, Diversity & Corporate Social Responsibility Director

Lamonica Spivey is the Inclusion, Diversity & Corporate Social Responsibility Director for TechnipFMC.  She began her career as a Human Resources Professional in various industries and made ‘providing fair, equitable opportunities for all’ her focus.  This led her into the current role where she is responsible for leading the global inclusion and diversity strategy – creating an inclusive culture that empowers people to be the difference by bringing their authentic selves to work.  Also she is responsible for the “Social” pillar of TechnipFMC’s ESG goals and initiatives of improving the underrepresented in senior leadership roles, creating inclusive leaders through learning and community involvement with a focus on STEM. Lamonica holds a Master degree in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of South Alabama.  

Anthony Thomas, Director
Piper Sandler
Anthony Thomas joined the energy & power investment banking group at Piper Sandler in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Thomas was a senior executive at GoExpedi and an investor at Montrose Lane. Before Montrose Lane, he was an executive at Ringers Gloves and an investment banker at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Thomas began his career as an engineer at Schlumberger. He has worked on a wide range of transactions as an advisor, investor and corporate executive across energy and energy technology sectors. Thomas earned bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
