Speakers
Hector Rocha spearheads Accenture’s global GenAI strategy for the energy sector, forging groundbreaking collaborations with clients worldwide to catalyze transformative, enterprise-wide reinvention and unlock value at an unprecedented scale. Prior to this role, Hector held diverse leadership positions in over 20 countries, spanning drilling operations, research and development, talent management, and, more recently, energy transition.
His work has been featured in Forbes, MIT Sloan Review, Harvard Business School AMP and several other prominent Latin American publications. He is also a distinguished speaker at prominent international forums such as ADIPEC and OTC.
Hector holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a master’s in engineering, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and an advanced management degree from Harvard Business School.
Jose Borges is a Managing Director in Accenture Strategy with 20 years of Energy and Utilities industry and consulting experience, with depth of knowledge spanning the entire value chain and across several geographies. During his career, Jose has accumulated a broad experience leading large operations and teams, overseeing extensive capital budgets, developing and driving business and technology strategies, including corporate transformation programs at global scale.
Currently he is part of the leadership team of the Global Accenture Data & AI Strategy and leads engagements with key accounts across all industries in North America.
He holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Brazil).
