Fall Clean-Up. Load Boats on Trailers

 
Fall Boathouse & Equipment Clean-up Day

We can use your assistance with winding down our 2018 Outdoor Season, while preparing for the upcoming Winter and 2019 Season.
 
Primary Objectives:
 

1. Boat Inspection, Loading of Trailers and Storage: We want to conduct a year end inspection of the Mainville 26’s, conduct any essential minor repairs to hardware, clean, load onto trailers and inspect each hull. The goal is to determine a priority list for maintenance that Chuck Mainville will need to complete during the winter, and establish which boats will be sent to Maine. The three trailers will be brought over to CMI yard for 7:30am start. We will have a Team leader assigned to oversee the inspection process, with a designated person to document all findings. Assigned Team members will be tasked with identified maintenance and cleaning duties. Once loaded, boats will subsequently be transported to Gratta’s Construction yard for storage.     
2. ERG Transfer to the Rec Center: We will need to relocate ten (10) ERG machines to the Rec Center for the upcoming Program initiative. We will want to leave five (5) ERG machines at the Boathouse for Winter use, and will want to make sure each location has an adequate number of newer machines. In addition to inventorying all the units (to assure we have 15 complete, working units), we will want to perform a thorough cleaning of each, including removal of the flywheel cover. We will assign a Team leader to oversee this task and assist in the process. Finally, we will need volunteer(s) to assist in the transport and set-up of the units at the Rec Center.  
3. General Boathouse Cleaning: The Coxswains and Crews have done a very good job this year of maintaining the general cleanliness and upkeep of the Boathouse, so we will simply need to do a final cleaning and clutter-removal. With the planned removal of 10 ERG machines, we should have an easier time of it. It is likely we will also store 1 or 2 boats from the CMI rack inside, as directed or deemed necessary. 

 
On Saturday, we will hold a brief pre-job meeting at 7:45am sharp to assign people to a specific group or task, pending total number of participants.
