Description:
Join us for San Marcos Trails Day. There will be guided hikes, a family mountain bike ride, and equestrian ride with this FREE event and an expo area at Lakeview Park.
SDMBA will set up the ever popular kids bike skills course with fun ramps and other obstacles to improve cycling skills and have FUN!
Volunteers needed to help with Kids Course - email volunteer@sdmba.com
Family friendly mountain bike ride led by local ranger - 2-3 easy miles through the more urban trails near Discovery Lake.
Participants are invited to bring their own bikes, helmets, water, snacks,and anything else they need for a safe and comfortable day. Some refreshments will be provided by SDMBA. We will have a small quiver of kids loaner bikes and helmets to borrow.
The goal of this event is to get the citizens out and exploring the trails and connecting with various agencies that their business is creating outdoor recreation opportunities and educating the public on the importance of trails and open spaces.
