Event Name:
WEBINAR: Why School-Age Care Environments Matter
Description:
Look around you. How does your environment affect the way you feel, the things you have to do and the things you want to do? The physical environment can be a powerful motivator or an extreme impediment. Children, like adults, are influenced in how they feel and behave by the total environment and the physical setting in particular. In this session we will explore how to create an environment that reflects and supports our efforts to provide high quality school-age care.
As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to determine ways their program environment could better support positive behavior, more engagement in activities, and developmental learning outcomes.
