The MiALA Cataloging/Metadata Interest Group will be hosting a pop-up conference on batch-editing tools on Friday, December 7, 2018 at MCLS in Lansing.
We are seeking presentations on tools and processes for managing your metadata. This event is designed to be casual. You don't need to be an expert to present. We're looking to share workflows, tips, and tricks. If you've come up with a way to deal with a problem, we want to hear about it. Members have expressed interest in MarcEdit, OpenRefine, Excel, and regular expressions. We're also open to hearing about methods you've used within your ILS to identify and fix problems.
