Join us for a fun family MTB ride to celebrate #optoutside day, REI's initiative to get people outside!  Choose a trail instead of a sale!  

Meet at 9AM, ride rolls at 9:30 AM. 

We’ll do a quick bike and helmet check. Give a short introduction to trail riding etiquette and safety before we roll out. Depending on ages/skills we will offer a 2-3 mile loop for smaller riders (or balance bikes) and a 6-7 mile loop for stronger riders. We’ll be riding mostly fire roads with some single track. Pace as slow as the slowest rider, no rider left behind.  All wheels welcome: balance bikes, trailers, trailer-bikes, bike seats,… please no training wheels as they might get stuck on the uneven ground.

Parents/Legal guardians are required to stay with their minors at all times.

• What to bring
Bike in good working order, helmet, water, sunscreen, snacks and maybe a spare tube.
