Beer, bikes and good times! As the Canyon Belgian Waffle Ride's chosen nonprofit partner, San Diego Mountain Biking Association has partnered with BWR for a December 1 gravel ride in concert with the Dec. 1 opening of BWR event registration.
The 18-mile ride will include a fast "A" group and a more relaxed-pace "B" group, with the rides kicking off from Canyon USA Headquarters at 9 a.m. Be sure to stay and enjoy free beer provided courtesy of The Lost Abbeyand free coffee courtesy Blast Radius Coffee. Food trucks Aloha Acai Bowls and Dos Banditos will be on hand to feed your post-ride hunger as well, so be sure to check their menus.

A limited selection of demo bikes will be available on a reservation basis, with models including the Endurace, Ultimate and Aeroad. Please email Kara Knox at kknox@canyon.com to reserve if interested, and arrive early to prep the bike for your test ride.
