Speaker: Jennifer Kang of the DCAA
Jennifer Kang is the Chief of Pricing and Special Projects Division under the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Headquarters, Policy and Plans directorate. She is responsible for development of DCAA audit policy guidance concerning DoD acquisition initiatives, emerging issues and other special projects. Prior to joining the DCAA Headquarters in September 2018 as a Chief, she served as a Branch Manager at the DCAA Fairfax Branch Office for about four years. Fairfax Branch Office had cognizance over close to 350 contractors in the Northern Virginia area, including but not limited to Fairfax, Falls Church, Chantilly, Herndon, and Reston. Prior to becoming a Branch Manager, she worked as a Program Manager at DCAA Headquarters Policy Programs Division for over four years. While serving as a Program Manager at DCAA Headquarters, her primary areas of focus had been incurred cost and billing as well as Federal Acquisition Regulation Teams. She earned her undergraduate degrees from State University of New York at Stony Brook in Linguistics and University of Maryland University College in Accounting. She also earned her Master in Public Policy Management from Georgetown University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia.
