Join us for the 2019 Annual Community Luncheon!  This year's event will focus on The Salvation Army Heartland Division's partnership with Midwest Food Bank.  The program will include short videos highlighting both organizations, as well as a short awards ceremony to recognize deserving individuals and businesses.  Program will begin at 11:45 a.m.

Echelon Peoria's president, Rachel Hammer, will receive the Young Leaders Award, in recognition of her leadership of Echelon over the past 2 years.  Echelon Peoria's Dinner With Love partner, Firehouse Pizza of East Peoria, will receive the Pinnacle of Achievement Award.  Firehouse was nominated not just for their partnership with The Army, but for all of the good they are doing in the community (see the news article below for more on their generosity during the TSA shutdown earlier this year).

Please join us for this year's luncheon, as we have lots to celebrate!  Echelon purchased tables and is subsidizing ticket cost.  Cost to member is $20.

The Pinnacle of Achievement Award is given in memory of Advisory Board member Robert Jamieson, who demonstrated exceptional service to The Salvation Army.  This award shall be presented as is merited to a non-Salvationist person or institution that has performed or provided extraordinary service for The Army.  It is hoped that through this award, Bob Jamieson's commitment to The Salvation Army will be perpetuated.

The Young Leaders award is dedicated to young people who serve others.  The Young Leaders Award is for an individual or group dedicated to community service, including service for The Salvation Army.
