ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Maurice Clarke is the Virtual Design & Construction Manager at Hensel Phelps. During his 13 years at Hensel Phelps, Maurice has worked on 15 projects valued at $2.6 Billion. His VDC specialty uses multi-disciplinary Building Information Models, 3D CAD, and reality capture technologies. Maurice brings effective management and organization, working closely with design teams and trade partners to facilitate constructability reviews and efficient solutions for building systems.

Brian Filkins is the Operational Technology Manager at The Beck Group, an integrated design and construction firm based out of Dallas, Texas. Brian has more than 18 years of operational experience. He is currently responsible for developing and documenting companywide best practices, standardizing workflows for all departments, and training for the software utilized to implement these processes. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.

Michael Masteller is the Director of Design Technology for Architecture at HNTB.  In his 30-year career he has spent time practicing in all aspects of the architectural process including time in the field at the onset of improvement projects collecting as-built information to utilize in the development of new design and documentation.  After transitioning into a technology management focus he’s lead Design Technology and BIM teams at several top architecture firms.  His goal is to incorporate new technology into practice to bring maximum efficiency to design, collaboration, production and delivery.
