San Diego Mountain Biking Association - Event Information - San Diego Mountain Biking Association

Event Name:
Trail Work: Indian Creek at Champagne Pass

Event Type(s):
Trail Work

Description:
Be a part of something bigger than you!! We will be brushing back the Indian Creek Trail near and west of Champagne Pass. If you've never been on this trail, this is a great time to check it out with others who know it well.

We will be riding to the trail work site. If you have a trailer that attaches to your mountain bike to haul tools, we would especially like you to come out and help!!! Think of the challenge and fun of traveling to a remote location!

Plus we'll have hot dogs and chips afterwards.

BRING YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE AS WE WILL RIDE TO THE TRAIL WORK SITE.

Meet at Noble Canyon Trailhead parking lot in Pine Valley at 8:00 am, we'll then drive up to the parking spot at the big oak tree on poorly paved Pine Creek Road. Look for Brian Suzuki who will be driving a blue Toyota Matrix with SDMBA trailwork signs leaning against the car.

All tools & training will be provided (after signing a waiver). We’ll work to 12:30 pm; afterward we’ll hand out some swag from Cal Coast Bicycles.

Please bring your own food & water, eye protection is required, gloves, long sleeves & pants are highly recommended. Plan accordingly for flies. Children not advised for this event.

Directions: Take Interstate 8 east to the Pine Valley exit; continue north on Pine Valley Road to Old Highway 80. Turn left at stop sign in town. Turn right on Pine Creek Road at the bridge, turn right into Noble Canyon Trailhead parking lot.

====>>>>> A Forest Adventure Pass is required at Noble Canyon Trailhead
