The Emerging Executives Committee, in partnership with Envision, an innovative global leader in corporate advising and coaching, delivers a competitive, forward-thinking talent management tool.
The Executive Leadership Program provides an external opportunity for high potential personnel to engage in a structured year-long program that will develop key competencies and skills for their current role and prepare them for responsibilities of their next role.
Three paths are offered: Advanced Business Development, Engaging Leadership and Strategic & Branded Executive. Each path offers unique development including: mentorship with an executive, personal executive coaching, accountability, assessments, and group seminars. The Engaging Leadership and Strategic & Branded Executive materials are suitable for senior leaders as well as individuals assuming a leadership role for the first time. The Advanced Business Development materials are suitable for business development professionals at any level.
Members who complete each of the Council's three signature training programs will be recognized as a Energy Workforce & Technology Council Certified Executive. The designation is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and build knowledge essential to the oil and gas industry.

The Year-Long Engaging Leadership Path Overview
Attend four half-day interactive webcast seminars (additional dates will be made available to accommodate group size if needed):
March 3, 2021, 8 a.m. – Noon
May 12, 2021, 8 a.m. – Noon
September 15, 2021, 8 a.m. – Noon
November 3, 2021, 8 a.m. – Noon
Attend one group coaching introductory webinar and two one-on-one executive coaching sessions
Attend two Council Meetings: The Council hosts a variety of meetings and seminars throughout the year including leadership forums designed to fulfill program requirements
Find a mentor (self-identified or paired by the Council) and meet with the mentor at least three times in 2021. Mentor Briefing Document will be provided
Participate in external leadership development through community or Council involvement: work with a non-profit or Council committee in 2021*

Engaging Leadership Course Content This program allows exploration of your sphere of influence in your organization and understanding how to leverage it to create positive organizational change. Analyze practices that support the development of healthy, productive organizational networks and culture. Apply leadership tools that create momentum and break down organizational silos, such as dialogue, facilitation, powerful questioning, effective listening and coaching. By the end of this course, you will have identified strategies that create a collaborative, resilient workplace and help to align people with your organizations vision in positive, productive ways.

When to apply the 6 most common and effective leadership styles, including coaching
When to use a simple 6-step coaching model and coach with VISION
Who to coach (know who needs development and when)
