Join the International Trade Policy Committee, led by James Prince, Vice President - Legal Sustainability, Baker Hughes for a session focused on critical minerals developments from both a risk and opportunity perspective and the potential impact to the broader energy mix (e.g., hydrogen, lithium, non-metallics) beyond oil and gas. The discussion will highlight the importance of critical earth elements in the energy transition and dive into the challenges of international supply chains.
Dr. Michelle Foss, Fellow in Energy, Minerals & Materials
Baker Institute, Rice University
Michelle Michot Foss, Ph.D., is the fellow in energy, minerals and materials at Rice University's Baker Institute, developing policies and conducting research to help build capacity on non-fuel minerals supply chains. She has nearly 40 years of experience in senior positions in energy (oil, gas/LNG, electric power) and environmental research, consulting and investment banking, with early career exposure to mining and mined land reclamation.
