Description:
Welcome back to the third annual APX Purpose Pedal and Trail Run! Event will take place in one of San Diego’s most scenic parks that is Daley Ranch in the city of Escondido. Riders and runners will start at the Dixon Lake Park located at 3024 La Honda Dr. Escondido, CA 92027 and head into the hills of Daley Ranch. Participants have a choice of a challenging 20 mile ride or a 5K run with amazing views throughout the course. Raffle tickets will be given out at registration (one ticket include with registration) and at the aid station/feed zone set at the Historic Ranch House of Robert Daley in the middle of the park. Completion of the whole course is optional and there are plenty of bail out options if you choose to come back to the venue early.

Upon completing your adventure you will be fed by our wonderful friends over at One Love Island Cuisine while you enjoy the rest of your day over looking Dixon Lake. Once participants have returned we will commence our raffle of prizes which will include bike components, gift cards, and other various products from our supporters. Charities and other ride sponsors will also be represented at the venue.
All proceeds from your 100 dollar entry will be given to the charities which include Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training (http://www.teamintraining.org/sd/), American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org/apx), Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation (http://www.ccteamchallenge.org/), National Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.mspacific.org), and of course our friends at San Diego Mountain Biking Assocaitaion (http://sdmba.com/site/). Your entry to the ride will also include a membership to SDMBA which will give you discounts on future events and 10 percent off at various bike stores around the county! If you already are an SDMBA member then this entry will count for your renewal upon membership expiration. Know that we are organizing this ride purely to help protect the trails you love to ride and to help support the APX charities.
Please join our fundraising campaign and help raise additional funds for the Charity of your choice. Our top three Fundraisers will receive special awards and prizes after the ride!
