Description:
Join the Earth Discovery Insititute and US Fish and Wildlife Refuge staff in a little happy hour trail trimming. Wondrous winter rains have resulted in impressive plant growth in the habitat. Join us at the refuge after your work day (at office, home or school) to gently nudge the native plants back off the trails. Bring a long sleeved shirt, hat, and sturdy shoes, as well as a water bottle if you have one. We will provide tools, gloves, and water to fill your bottles.
Meet at the Singer Lane/Highway 94 (Steel Bridge) parking lot at 5:15. We’ll hit the trail at 5:30.
