Gain valuable skill in managing medical situations outdoors through this wilderness first aid course at Texas A&M University. A great course for those seeking an introduction to wilderness medicine, or for those leading or participating in 1-2 day trips. The hybrid format allows participants to study at their pace with online lectures and study resources. Upon successful completion of an online exam, participants attend a 2-day onsite practical session.

Course tuition for the Hybrid WFA: $225.
Optional recertification of a WAFA, WFR or WEMT certification: $225. Those seeking to recertify must verify eligibility through the Wilderness Medicine Training Center; recert students will attend the 2-day practical session, but will be assigned a WAFA, WFR or WEMT online recertification exam.
