Known across the industry as the "Factory Doctor," Alex has a reputation for rapidly improving business strategy, quality, delivery and financial performance. =0D=0A=0D=0ADuring 2025, Alex stepped away from his business to serve as a Presidential Appointee in the role of Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He led the Office of Manufacturing Industries, the U.S. Government's leading advocate for advancing the competitive position of U.S. manufacturing industries in the global marketplace. In this role, he led a team of 65 trade specialists. His focus was industry engagement & analysis, supported bi-lateral trade agreements, supported Section 232 investigations, and advanced National Economic Security workstreams.
