Urology – Men

If urinary frequency and urgency are interfering with your daily routine, help is available. As men age, the prostate continues to grow. This puts pressure on the bladder and often results in frequent urination, urgency to urinate, and decreased urine flow – a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). More than 80 percent of men will develop BPH, with 50 percent of men developing the condition by the age of 50.
