Bright Beginners Academy is seeking a Full-Time Teacher.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing an ongoing curriculum that promotes the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in their care, which may include toddlers and/or preschool age children; developing partnerships with parents/child's caregivers to engage and encourage parent participation in program.
We are conveniently located in Bensalem, Bucks County, near I95, Woodhaven Road and the PA Turnpike.

Our unique center has inclusive classrooms with children with special needs, specifically on the Autism Spectrum. Since our Company also provides behavioral health services to children, Behavioral Support Services are also available on-site. We are proud to have been awarded 4 Keystone Stars status!

We proudly partner with CHOP on specialized research studies, and have a relationship with the local Intermediate Unit and Early Intervention Services.

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week.

Employee may work either 12 months/ year or 10 months/year (with summers off).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, Social Work or other Human Services field
Must maintain an Early Childhood Education Certification, Instructional 1 or 2, or Private School Certification (Certified Teacher Only). ¨
Volunteer experience or relevant college level internships will be considered in lieu of actual paid work experience. Early Childhood Education Certification
Successful completion of mandatory training received prior to hire and annually post-hire.
Special Education Certification preferred, but not required
Experience working in Pre-K Counts Setting preferred, but not required.
Must Meet Regs as defined by PA Dept. of Education for Preschool Classroom
Must be able to be able to pass a child abuse clearance, criminal background check, FBI fingerprinting and a drug screen.
