Children's Playhouse Early Learning is a high quality child care center, located in South Philadelphia, that's mission is to provide a diverse and inclusive enviorment with a holistic approach in meeting the needs of the students and families we serve. Children's Playhouse is in search of the right candidate that fits our company's culture and that has the love of teaching to join our team!
Positiion Available-
Head Start/PHLprek Teacher for the 2021-2022 School year! Start Date will be August 16th, 2021. This is a 10 month contract with 12 month pay and summer weeks off position.
Requirements-
Pre-K Counts applicant must be organized, a team player, and have a minimum of two years of experience in working with children in Preschool (ages 3-5), know the Creative Curriculum, and Second Step Curriculum for Social Emotional, must be able to supervise and delegate their assistant teacher to meet due dates and reporting requirements, must be able to connect with families to foster strong family partnerships in their classrooms, Must be a team player, and love children!
Head Start/PKC Candidate must have the following:
I- High School Diploma, Required
2- Bachelor's Degree in ECE or ED Required, or a Master's Degree Preferred
3- Must have a minimum of two years of experience working with children
4- Must be able to pass clearances (e.g., Child Abuse, Criminal Back Ground, FBI, and NSOR)
5- Must have an updated physical with TB results, within the last year.
6 -Must be able to provide two letters of references
9- COVID Vaccinated Required
Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm

Salary
Competitive Salary range $38,000-$43,000 based on experience and Degree Level.
