The Goddard School of State College is seeking candidates for full-time Assistant Teachers in our toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms.

Candidates will help create a caring, nurturing, and safe environment for the children and assist in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.

Qualified candidates should have experience working with children in child care, daycare, volunteer, or babysitting setting. Job training is provided for entry-level caregivers.

Starting compensation will be based on experience. Sign-on bonus is available for newly hired full-time employees.

Job Responsibilities:
-Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
-Implement prepared lessons and activities in small and large group settings throughout the program day.
-Assist children with managing all parts of the program day including transitions between activities, meals, toileting/diapering & washing hands, structured activities, etc.
-Establish positive and effective family relations through interactive parent communication.

-Health Assessment and TB Test
-FBI/Fingerprint Clearance

-Criminal Background Clearance
