- The Assistant teacher or classroom aide shall assist the Teacher in providing high quality care and education for all children. They will assist in maintaining a safe, healthful learning environment, assist with planning and implementing daily program activities that reflect the developmental needs of all children in care, and establish and maintain a positive relationship with parents. They will participate in professional development activities to further their education. Experience is not required but highly recommended.
