What an incredible day we had at the OSFAA Clay Shoot on September 17th at Eagle’s Nest Sporting Grounds! This year’s event was a huge success as we reinvigorate OSFAA! It featured a mix of great fun, friendly competition, and, most importantly, an amazing gathering of our members. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, as well as a number of new members and first-time attendees who joined us to experience the new energy and momentum within OSFAA.
We’ve put together a photo gallery below from the event so you can relive some of the highlights and see the smiles, camaraderie, and great shots from the day. |

One of the greatest ways we can bring value to our members and our industry is by investing in professional development. Training should not just be a box you check. Instead, it should be part of a long-term growth plan for your team members including technicians, support staff, senior leadership, sales and your business. When you provide clear goals, measurable skills, and a pathway for advancement, you not only build stronger teams but also create loyalty, retention, and long-term success. At our Annual Meeting on November 13th at Topgolf in Columbus, we’ll be diving deeper into this topic. I’ll be walking members through how to create a technician growth plan that takes a new hire from Level 1 Tech all the way to Senior Lead Tech. We’ll cover: This is powerful information that will help you create career pathways, improve retention, and set your business apart in a competitive market. If you do not have a structured onboarding and clearly defined growth plan in place for your team you need to attend this meeting. In addition, I encourage you to explore the OSFAA’s Alarm Academy training programs now and start thinking about how you can integrate structured development into your team’s daily work.
Please be sure to join us at the Annual Meeting! We have so much to share that will truly transform the way you approach professional development in your company. I can’t wait to see you there!
With energy and gratitude, Shannon Few Executive Director, OSFAA |
