The course is a 2-day review for Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification, specifically for Class 3 and Class 4 exams. It focuses on core competencies outlined in the Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification Need-To-Know Criteria. Participants will receive guidance on test preparation, study techniques, and time management strategies. Attendees should bring specific materials: the textbook Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Vol 1, 8th Edition, a notebook, writing tools, a highlighter, and a calculator. The instructor will provide additional resources, including the ABC Testing Formula/Conversion Table and class handouts. The class is limited to 20 participants to ensure a focused learning environment.

Join us at Augusta Expoland for training and fun team building activities. Earn up to 15 CPEs if you attend the Monday VDOT class in addition to the regular classes on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Oct 19, 2026: VDOT Basic Work Zone Safety and Flagger Certification

This course provides training to properly inst all work zones to perform daily maintenance or short term operations. Emphasis is placed on the basics of work zone traffic control, concentration on work zone devices and how to effectively install and maintain them. Upon successful completion, participants will receive VDOT certification.

Note—You do not have to be registered for VRWA’s Fall Expo to attend this class. It is a separate class and cost. You may use this registration form for one or both of the events.
