This is one of the most challenging of the Project Hero events, with a climb up Stagecoach Pass followed by fast descents. 
 
Travel down the beautiful and scenic Highway 1 while enjoying stunning views of the Pacific Coast at every turn! The Pacific Ocean will be off your right shoulder as you head south through great cities like Santa Cruz, Salinas, San Simeon, Pismo Beach, Solvang and Ventura. The ride will depart from the San Fransisco VA and finish at the West Los Angeles VA.
This ride is a Category "A" (Difficult)

Enjoy a full day of superb cycling in beautiful southwest Florida. Riders may choose fully supported routes of 100, 62, 35, or 20 mile distances.

This is not a race and is designed to be a family event for cyclists of all abilities. Breakfast provided along with a lunch served by Polo Grill & Bar. Registration opens at 6:45AM. Routes close at 3:00PM.

This year will feature breakfast, high quality dri-fit SHIRTS, five well-stocked rest stops, full SAG support, music, lunch and various vendors on Main Street to enjoy.

Register by October 1, 2017 for a guaranteed dri-fit shirt in your requested size. Six hundred fifty dri-fit SHIRTS available. Event limited to 700 cyclists.

A new Gulf Coast Cyclefest jersey will be available for purchase later in the year. Check the SMBC website or Facebook page for future details.
