What is READ and LEAD?
The READ and LEAD Series is designed to empower and support women in higher education in Oklahoma by creating an enriching environment where participants can grow and connect as leaders through thoughtful discussion and reflection on monthly leadership-related readings.  It’s like a book club, but with concise, impactful articles tailored to inspire and inform!
 
Monthly Readings and Meetings
The spring semester's theme is "Lead Through Laughter." The series will run through the Spring 2026 semester, starting in January 2026 and ending in April 2026. Each month, participants will be assigned a thought-provoking article on women and leadership to read before the next meeting. Small discussion groups on Zoom, led by a facilitator who is a knowledgeable leader in higher education, will take place each month from January to April 2026. Each meeting will last approximately one hour.


Cost
A nominal fee of $25 per participant covers the cost of program participation. All readings will be provided.
