On Thursday Nights we offer an introduction to archery class. Designed especially for the new archer, this is the perfect way to experience archery. The 60-minute session is designed to give you a fun hands-on archery experience.
We ask that children under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or guardian who remains on-site during the class. We also respectfully request that you limit spectators due to space limitations.
Dress appropriately for the weather as our range is covered but you will be outdoors during this class.
Due to our capacity limits pre-registration is required. Please double-check your reminder email for your session start time.

Skookum Archers is proud to offer a full week of Field Archery basics for developing young archers ages 8 to 17. Coaches will provide guidance on the different types of field archery rounds recognized by the National Field Archery Association, including shooting standard units on our 5-Star Certified Courses.
This camp is designed for beginning archers who have their own equipment and have taken introductory lessons on archery. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early. Our daily schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with snack included for participants. Cost is $150 for non-members and $125 for members.
Skookum Archers is the home range to six medalists from the 2023 NFAA National Field Championship and five medalists from the 2023 USA Archery National Field Championships. Our members hold three National Records in field archery. Experience the exhilaration of this challenging discipline of our sport.
Monday will be an introductory time on the Member’s Range shooting a modified Indoor Flint Round to help identify archer strengths and buddy groups. On Tuesday through Thursday, after a short warm-up and practice period, campers will be guided through shooting an official unit of each type of round. Friday will feature a specially designed unit on one of our courses that will allow archers to demonstrate what they have accomplished during the week.
Equipment rental is available for an additional fee. Please inquire as to rates.
