We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 UOA Winter Quarterly Meeting, where we will be focusing on practice management courses with a course taught by a financial expert and a course taught by a lawyer on February 19 at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (1355 W 3100 S, West Valley City, UT 84119).

This event is free for all UOA members and optometry students; however, registration is required. If you’d like to invite anyone who is an OD, but not a UOA member, the cost is $50 for this event. You may register one office manager/staff member, but we ask that they pay $15 to cover the cost of their dinner (dinner is free for ODs and students).

Course Outline: This course provides a comprehensive overview of the financial, legal, and strategic considerations involved in buying, selling, or partnering in an optometry practice.
