9/16/2018 - 9/19/2018
This is the 90th Annual Conference for the Rocky Mountain Section of AWWA and the 80th Annual Conference for the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association.  This is a Joint Conference filled with very informative presentations and a number of additional entertaining and educational activities.

The 2018 RMSAWWA/RMWEA Joint Annual Conference Exhibit Hall and Sponsorship registration is now open! This year’s conference will be held Sep 16-19 for the first time at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver.  Over 1,200 attendees are expected including utilities, managers, operators, vendors, engineers, regulators, students, and others. This year’s conference theme is, “What’s brewing in Rocky Mountain water.”  We are preparing an excellent technical program and are continuing many of the exhibit hall and networking features that have made this conference the premier water industry event.  In addition this year we will have a larger exhibit hall, an exciting keynote speaker during Monday’s opening session (to be announced), the 5k Fun Run on Sunday, a networking event at the Hyatt on Tuesday evening, a student poster competition in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, 6-hours of operator exam training on Wednesday, a Top Ops challenge, and many other exciting conference features.  And of course, the popular golf tournament will be held on Sunday at the Kennedy Golf Course in Denver.  We hope to see you in Denver!

The conference will be held at the Colorado Convention Center located at 700 14th St, Denver, CO 80202

The RMWEA Annual WEFTEC Reception returns to New Orleans on Sunday, September 30, 2018.  This year the Reception is sponsored by Cla-Val Valves, Custom Conveyor Corporation, Leopold, Sanitaire, Walker-Process Equipment, Wedco, and isiWEST.

The WEFTEC Reception is a popular event, giving the conference attendees a place to connect with colleagues from the RMWEA and to wish our two (2) Operations Challenge Teams good luck in their competitions.

This year’s venue, Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar and Restaurant, is just steps away from the Convention Center at 701 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans.

We will begin at 3pm with TVs setup to watch Football.  Get your square in the Football Square game.  We will have a football pool.  Squares will be randomly drawn to represent the score of the game.  Each square is worth $5 and we will payout four (4) winners throughout the game (one each quarter) with the proceeds split 50/50 between the winner and the Operations Challenge Committee.

There will be a buffet of Hors d'oeuvres and a hosted bar of house well drinks, beers, and sodas offered.
For those who have attended in the past, you know this is a fun atmosphere with plenty of food and drink.
