The ride starts in Dexter at Jeffords St. between Alpine St and Forrest St, overlooking the start of the B2B trail. (Behind the Marathon gas station.)

The ride has two groups. An A/B:25 mile ride and a C:13-16 mile ride. Both rides use the B2B Trail to Hudson Mills. (No cars!)

Join us for an evening's ride through Island Lake State Rec Area and around Kensington MetroPark every Wednesday through October. We start in the upper lot of the East boat launch in Kensington MetroPark. Rides are generally 15-40 miles depending on weather and the group's stamina. Occasionally will start the rides in South Lyon; but will meet the main group at the park. Kensington MetroPark is at  â€‹I-96 & Kent Lake Road. May rides begin at 6:00, June will begin at 6:30

A new Saturday ride for members who are intimidated at riding on the open roads and for those who work during the week but would really like to participate with other AABTS riders in an environment friendly to novice cyclists. This ride starts from Kensington Metropark where riders may enjoy riding slower without having to share the road with cars. First ride Saturday, 5/13/17, and continues until the end of October.
Ride along the paved Hike-Bike Trail (8.5 miles per loop) or roads along the Kensington circuit. Multiple loops or fewer miles for new riders.

Silent bicycle ride to commemorate bicyclists killed or injured while riding and part of a world-wide event urging everyone, cyclists and motorists, to “share the road”. Ride length of 9 miles at a relaxed pace taking approximately one hour. The ride is free and open to the public. The Bluegrass Cycling Club's Horsey Hundred (www.horseyhundred.com/) is our club's favorite invitational.   This 2-day event, based in Georgetown, Kentucky, takes place Memorial Day Weekend, this year on May 27th and 28th.   It offers routes from 26 to 100 miles each day through the horse farm country north of Lexington.   Every year about 60 Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society (AABTS) members make the 5-6-hour drive to see what other club members are raving about.  Each year we are joined by several members of the Great Canadian Bicycle Tours (GCBT) bicycle club.

Newcomers, casual riders & recumbents welcome!
The ride starts in Dexter at Jeffords St. between Alpine St and Forrest St, overlooking the start of the B2B trail. (Behind the Marathon gas station.)

The ride has two groups. An A/B:25 mile ride and a C:13-16 mile ride. Both rides use the B2B Trail to Hudson Mills. (No cars!)

Join us for an evening's ride through Island Lake State Rec Area and around Kensington MetroPark every Wednesday through October. We start in the upper lot of the East boat launch in Kensington MetroPark. Rides are generally 15-40 miles depending on weather and the group's stamina. Occasionally will start the rides in South Lyon; but will meet the main group at the park. Kensington MetroPark is at  â€‹I-96 & Kent Lake Road. May rides begin at 6:00, June will begin at 6:30

A new Saturday ride for members who are intimidated at riding on the open roads and for those who work during the week but would really like to participate with other AABTS riders in an environment friendly to novice cyclists. This ride starts from Kensington Metropark where riders may enjoy riding slower without having to share the road with cars. First ride Saturday, 5/13/17, and continues until the end of October.
Ride along the paved Hike-Bike Trail (8.5 miles per loop) or roads along the Kensington circuit. Multiple loops or fewer miles for new riders.
