\nJoin us on Sunday, March 22nd as trail ambassadors from the FOW leads us on a guided hike through Andorra Meadow. Learn more about our local flora and fauna from our trail ambassador, or simply appreciate the changing of the season in one of Philadelphia's most cherished treasures, the Wissahickon Valley park!
\n
\nThe hike will last approximately two hours starting at Northwestern Avenue and Forbidden Drive. There will be a steep incline and uneven surfaces. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Guests are encouraged to bring a water bottle.

\nIn the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.

DESCRIPTION:The Chestnut Hill Community Association is proud to partner with the Whitemarsh Foundation to present the newest chapter of its educational series titled “Jewel of the Wissahickon – Rewilding the Dixon Meadow”.

\nJoin award-winning wildlife photographer and acclaimed author Glenn Mason for a photographic journey of spring flora and wildlife, followed by a walk in the Preserve led by the Foundation’s resident birder Troy Bynum.
\n
\nLearn about butterflies of the bird world, how the Foundation supports the Bluebird and Tree Swallow NestWatch research program, and why the rewilded Dixon Meadow is such an important link in preserving the local ecology of the Wissahickon and surrounding habitats that define our region.
