TOPIC: Blockchain in Business


OBJECTIVES:

In 2017, there was an incredible parabolic rise in the price of Bitcoin, and this ultimately lead to organizations and enterprises alike learning the underlying technology the runs the Bitcoin Network, which is known as Blockchain.  Many organizations have had issues with audits, server hacks (Dropbox, Equifax, etc.) leading to leaked private information, or even sending transactions around the world. This are some of the basic ways that blockchain can be utilized and will benefit people all around the globe.

This session will break down how a blockchain network operates, where to start if you want to utilize blockchain, and most importantly, how this innovative technology can make our lives easier on a day to day basis.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN: 

Bitcoin and P2P transactions, blockchain, how a transaction occurs on a decentralized network, the different types of blockchains, and how this technology (blockchain) can be used in different real world applications.

Bringing developers, enterprises, and projects together to help them learn about the smart contracts, widgets, and plugins that can be utilized by the Hydro ecosystem. Academic Tutor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Customer Service, Microsoft Word, Coaching, and Sales. Strong education professional in the 5-Year BSBA/MBA Program focused in Business Administration from University of Detroit-Mercy.
