Join us for our second of five panel disscussions regarding how to enhance and refine the referral process between optometry and subspecialty ophthalmology.

This Wednesday we are focusing on Surgical Retina.

This will be an open forum discussion to discuss the following type of topics:

• What are the most common opportunities for ODs who refer to your clinic?
• Which conditions are typically referred to you too early or late?
• Of the most common referred conditions, are there particular time frames for referral that you recommend?
• What is your preferred way to be contacted regarding questions about management of urgent referrals? 
• Are there any management strategies you recommend for referrals prior to the patients arriving in your clinic? 
• Are there any updates within your sub-specialty that you would like to share? Are you recruiting for any studies? New treatment options?

The discussion will last between 60-90 minutes. Come with your most pressing questions. 

The goal is to have open, meaningful dialogue and conversations, build relationships between Optometry and Ophthalmology, and better enhance care for patients who face the most vision-threatening conditions.
