Caroline “Cari” Balfour is the Vice President, Revenue Cycle Services at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California.  Cari has over 25 years of experience in operations both in Revenue Cycle, and Insurance Plan Operations.  She spent more than 17 years with Providence St Joseph Health, and prior to joining Huntington in 2020, she served as a Corporate Vice President at KPC Health. Cari has been a member and past chair of the California hospital Association Payor Relations Committee and was a  two-time past President of the Orange County Claims Association.  Her years of leadership in a variety of roles in healthcare have left her well poised to be a key contributor to the changing healthcare environment in California.  Ms. Balfour’s key focus is in process improvement, cash acceleration, denial avoidance, and improving the patient experience. Cari has Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare administration.  She is also an active member of the Southern California Chapter of HFMA.
