BCEDA plans to host a hybrid course where delegates can attend virtually OR in-person (Richmond, BC). 

Join economic development professionals from Western Canada at the premier program offering concentrated focus in the basic concepts, methods and strategies of local economic development. Whether you’re new to economic development or not, this course will provide you with fresh tools and ideas you will be able to implement in your community. Participants are eligible to earn credits towards EcD and/or CeCD Certification.

Registration Fees:
BCEDA Members $600.00 + GST
Non-Members $700.00 + GST

Proof of Vaccination:
By order of the PHO, proof of vaccination will be required to attend this event in person. Starting September 13, you must have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. By October 24, you must be fully vaccinated.

Substitutions will be accepted at any time. All registered attendees cancelling their registration, will be charged a $75 processing fee, regardless of when the cancellation notice was received. Cancellations by phone are not accepted. Cancellations must be received in writing by mail, fax or email to Ashleigh Volcz (e-mail: info@bceda.ca or Fax: 604-795-7119). Cancellations received in writing on or before Thursday, September 30, 2021 will be refunded or credited to a future BCEDA event (less a $75 processing fee). These transactions will be processed after the course. There will be no refunds or credits for cancellations received after September 30, 2021. A registered attendee, who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the course is considered a No-Show and is not eligible for a refund or credit. A registered attendee, who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the course, is still liable for any outstanding balances.

The course is accredited by the International Economic Development Council. 
This course qualifies as a professional development training requirement needed to sit for the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) examination.
