The British Columbia Economic Development Association (BCEDA) is presenting its 2022 Annual BC Economic Summit in a virtual format April 4th and 5th, 2022 with additional sessions every Tuesday in April. This is an opportunity to highlight success stories, lessons learned, share cutting-edge ideas, and engage your colleagues at the premier event for economic development practitioners in British Columbia. The annual BC Economic Summit attracts over 200 local, regional, Indigenous, national and international experts in the field of economic development and elected officials from various parts of our province. The 2022 Summit theme is “Reconciliation and Resiliency - A Future for BC”.
Now is the time to come together and have important discussions on truth and reconciliation. How can we deliver on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action regarding business and economic development? It is the responsibility of us all to have relationships that are based on respect and recognition. That will be the first step towards resiliency and a future for BC.
The program will include numerous virtual keynote presentations, breakout sessions, online networking opportunities, panel discussions and discussion forums on reconciliation and economic development resiliency, utilizing a comprehensive interactive virtual event platform to enhance your Summit experience.
Additional sessions will be held each Tuesday in April from 10:00am to 12:00pm PST.
The BCEDA is BC’s largest membership organization serving the economic development profession. From public to private, rural to urban and local to international, our members represent the entire range of economic development experiences.
Refunds can be requested by January 31, 2022. After January 31, 2022, no refunds will be issued, but a substitute delegate is welcome at no additional charge.
